Goldback, Inc. Announces Arizona and Oklahoma Goldbacks
(Bullion News Network) – Yesterday, Goldback, Inc. announced that Arizona and Oklahoma will be the next two states to receive their own Goldback collections. This move follows the success of the company’s new Florida Goldback series, which premiered in January of 2025. The Arizona and Oklahoma Goldback collections will be the seventh and eighth states to be represented on the golden notes, which first began in Utah.
Goldback, Inc. chose Arizona and Oklahoma because of those states’ commitment to sound money, the company said in a statement published yesterday. Arizona ranks 11th and Oklahoma clocks in at #15 on the Sound Money Index, a rating system by lobbying group Citizens for Sound Money that ranks states based on their commitment to encouraging and allowing citizens to invest in and use precious metals as currency. Both states are currently considering legislation that “could support gold and silver-backed transactions,” according to Goldback, Inc.
Arizona and Oklahoma Goldbacks – What We Know So Far
We don’t yet have design images or approximate release dates for either the Oklahoma or Arizona Goldback collections. However, it’s likely that both new Goldback releases will follow the same artwork philosophy that has characterized previous releases. It is likely that each note will feature detailed iconography symbolizing each state’s history, culture, and values. Each new Goldback denomination will also probably include the feminine depiction of one core virtue, which has been the case on all previous Goldback collections.
Arizona has a large population at 7.582 million people, and Oklahoma is home to just under 4.1 million residents. These states don’t quite offer the massive market that Goldback, Inc. enjoyed in Florida, but the states’ commitment to sound money and high populations of gold stackers make them excellent choices for the company’s newest Goldback lines. As far as designs are concerned, both Arizona and Oklahoma have long, rich histories that intertwine Western culture with the Native American tribes that helped build them. Expect both of these historical-cultural groups to be heavily featured when Goldback, Inc. releases initial design mock-ups.

Will the Arizona and Oklahoma Goldbacks Get an Alpha Release?
Each new Goldback series begins with an Alpha release, a small number of new Goldbacks marked with a small ‘A’ to signify their Alpha status. The Florida Alpha release is still ongoing, and Alpha notes have become sought-after collectables among Goldback stackers. The earliest Goldback, the Utah series, featured a small number of Alpha notes that have since become extremely popular because of their age and rarity.
We anticipate that Oklahoma and Arizona Goldbacks will begin with Alpha releases, although it’s unclear at this point how many Alpha Goldbacks will be released for either collection.
