Hero Bullion Releases Exclusive “Epic Warrior” Bars in Copper and Silver
Product offerings went live this morning for the new “Epic Warrior” Copper and Silver Bars, a 12-bar collection of 99.9% pure bullion bars exclusive to Hero Bullion. This is a historic achievement for the company and is its first exclusive series of precious metal products. Each bar features one of humanity’s most recognizable warrior archetypes. The complete set, available in both silver and copper, includes The Samurai, The Aztec, The Knight, The Amazon, The Viking, and The Spartan.

Each bar is available for individual purchase, and consumers can also purchase the entire set in either silver or copper. Mintage for these bars is limited to 500 each, a decision that Founder Jake Haugen anticipates will create a strong secondary market. On the subject of the new release, Haugen had this to say:
As a lifelong collector and stacker, one of my biggest goals is to help investors experience the fun and excitement that drew me to this industry in the first place. When [you] have a limited edition mintage series like this, seeing a secondary market develop can be extremely fun for investors – and for us. We always love to see people getting excited about their precious metals, and producing our own series is one way that we can encourage people to look forward to expanding their portfolios.
The series is Hero Bullion’s foray into original bullion collections, but the company has released custom precious metal products in the past. In March of this year, the company premiered its Hand-Poured Buffalo Bar, a 10 oz silver bar designed in-house and hand-poured at Hero Bullion’s Texas facility. Two months later, Hero Bullion introduced another limited mintage silver bar into the market – the 2024 Year of the Dragon 10 oz Silver Bar.
Hero Bullion customer Hugo praised the company’s creativity after receiving his “First Pour” edition of the Hero Bullion Buffalo 10 oz Silver Bar:
I could see Jake’s excitement on the appreciation video (nice gesture), and now I understand why. Beautiful balance of precise edging on the buffalo and the rough/natural look. You should be proud of this work Jake, you truly knocked it out of the park! I am looking forward to your next creation!
The “Epic Warrior” Silver Bar Series is hand-poured and includes designs on both the obverse and reverse. Hand-poured bars usually feature designs on the obverse and intentionally blank reverses. Hero Bullion designer Shane Gerlich penned a common reverse-side design shared across the series, which features the series name, logo, and a statement of each bar’s weight and purity.

The designer has worked with Hero Bullion since 2020 and has been the metalworker behind much of the company’s exclusive products.
Gerlich said that Hero Bullion’s growing production capacity and in-house skill development helped make the series possible.
Producing a series of this scale requires a lot of moving parts. For the silver series, we’re handling the initial design, pouring, hand-finishing, marketing, shipment… all of it. This is a much larger undertaking than just shipping existing products. The copper collection was an easy choice, since copper is a reasonably priced companion to silver. While we don’t mint those in-house, we worked closely with a third-party mint to get them finalized. All totaled, it’s great to have the internal capacity and relationships to make a project like this happen.
The copper version of the series also features a heavy shading effect on the obverse, a design choice that helps the warrior’s intricate details stand out against the dark shade of 99.9% copper bullion. To produce the copper collection, Hero Bullion worked with one of its partner mints, which used laser-etching technology to mint the bars.

Each bar in the series is limited in mintage to just 500. “Once we sell out, they’re gone for good,” Hero Bullion Founder Jake Haugen explained in a promotional email to subscribers this morning.
