Most silver bars stop at .999 fine. The Royal Canadian Mint takes this one to .9999, and it stamps the extra decimal right into the face. The RCM is a Crown corporation of the Canadian government, so the hallmark carries sovereign backing that private refiners cannot match. At 100 troy ounces, this bar sits where premiums bottom out while staying easy enough to store and handle.
Key Features:
- Purity and Weight: 100 troy ounces (3,110.35 grams) of .9999 fine silver
- Metal Type: Investment-grade silver refined by the Royal Canadian Mint
- Front Face: RCM roundel, weight, purity, and unique serial number
- Back Face: Raw poured surface, left untouched
The front is anchored by the mint’s circular device: a double ring of raised beads enclosing the stylized maple leaf logo, with ROYAL CANADIAN MINT arcing over the top and MONNAIE ROYALE CANADIENNE curving below. Beneath the roundel the bar reads 100 oz t with a small maple leaf on either side of 999.9, then FINE SILVER over ARGENT PUR in the mint’s bilingual format. A serial number is struck into a recessed rectangular panel near the base.
This is a poured bar, not a pressed one, so the face carries the gentle swell and shallow surface variation of cast silver. Corners are rounded and the sides bow slightly outward.
The back is left exactly as it cooled: a frosted, uneven surface with mottled contrast, faint flow lines, and light pitting across the field. No two backs are alike, and the one you receive will not match the photographs.
Bars are new and ship in protective plastic. Serial numbers are assigned by the mint and cannot be requested.
Government hallmark, four-nine purity, and a serialized face put this bar in strong standing at any dealer counter worldwide. Order yours today and we will ship it fully insured in discreet packaging.

It’s hard to beat at this price. Do recognize the listing states “Bars may arrive in Used condition”. There were a few scratches around the sides, but that was fine by me. 100oz is 100oz, but others may be more discriminate.
