Beneath the roundel the bar reads 100 oz t with a small maple leaf on either side of 999.9, then FINE SILVER over ARGENT PUR in the mint’s bilingual format. A serial number is struck into a recessed rectangular panel near the base.

This is a poured bar, not a pressed one, so the face carries the gentle swell and shallow surface variation of cast silver. Corners are rounded and the sides bow slightly outward.

The back is left exactly as it cooled: a frosted, uneven surface with mottled contrast, faint flow lines, and light pitting across the field. No two backs are alike, and the one you receive will not match the photographs.
