The obverse side of this bar has the famous Walking Liberty Design stamped into it. This Walking Liberty design appeared on the American Eagle half dollar from 1916-1947 and was designed by Adolph Weinman. The design features Lady Liberty walking to the left toward a setting sun. She is carrying an olive branch. Above her is written ‘LIBERTY’ and to the right of her is ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’. Below the Walking Liberty design is a giant number 1 and ‘ONE TROY OUNCES FINE SILVER 999+’. At the bottom is written “MADE IN THE USA’. This design element has no value.
On the reverse side of the bar are diagonal lines. These lines are to help prevent slippage when stacking these bars. This is to prevent scratches.
