Valcambi’s House Style

The face keeps to Valcambi’s plain style: the refiner’s faceted diamond emblem, a square set on its point, above the stamps 10 g, fine gold and 999,9, then the Essayeur Fondeur hallmark that marks official Swiss assay, and the serial number along the bottom edge. The reverse is given over to the valcambi suisse wordmark in lowercase script on a polished field. The bar is struck, not cast, so the faces are flat and bright and the corners are lightly rounded.

Where 10 Grams Sits on Premium

A 10 gram bar is a middle size. It carries a lower premium per gram than a 1 gram bar, which is the most expensive gold by weight, but a higher premium per gram than a 1 ounce bar or a kilo.
