The front face centers on a fasces, a tight bundle of rods bound at the top, with a serpent coiled around the shaft and its head raised toward the viewer. Olive branches spread behind on both sides. A scalloped, hammered texture fills the field behind the design and runs to a raised border.

The imagery pulls from older American iconography. The fasces has represented strength through unity since Roman times and appears throughout U.S. civic design, while the serpent traces back to colonial-era emblems of vigilance and self-defense. Paired with the olive branch, the combination reads as readiness alongside a preference for peace.
Both faces are struck in high relief with mirrored surfaces, and the bar carries square edges with a defined rim. Bars ship new in protective plastic. No serial number is stamped on this design.

The ultra fine detail in this bar is mind blowing. Must have been some sort of nano engraving technology to pull it off without the die engraver going blind. A work of art, plus a testament to what fine details can actually be accomplished. Look at it with a loop or magnifying glass for a “Wow”. I’ve never seen this bar priced low. It usually commands & deserves a good premium.
