Under the Sunshine decoder lens, that disc displays a hidden image that confirms the bar is genuine, and the surrounding pattern is difficult to reproduce at this level of detail.
The bar arrives in a sealed assay card. The front is printed in blue with the SMI logo and SUNSHINE MINTING, INC. across the top, and an ISO 9001 quality certification note at the base. The reverse states CERTIFIED BY SUNSHINE MINTING, INC., with metal fineness .9999 Au, weight 1 troy ounce, MADE IN THE USA, and the Mint Mark SI emblem.
