Please note that these bars can arrive with one of two possible designs. The first version of the RCM 100 oz silver bar includes a small, etched Royal Canadian Mint seal. The year, serial number, weight, material, and purity (.9999) also appear on the bottom of the obverse on this original RCM 100 oz Silver Bar design. 

 

The newer design for this bar features a stamped logo, as well as a few additional details that add a bit of nuance to the silver bar’s classic design. A larger version of the mint’s seal decorates the top of the new bar’s obverse, while the weight, purity, material, and serial number find a way onto the bottom. Two small maple leaves flank either side of the purity (999.9), adding a welcome touch of personability to the Royal Canadian Mint’s beautiful 100 oz Silver Bar.
