One Hallmark, a Blank Back

The face carries Red River Mint’s own hallmark near the top, a circular border enclosing two stacked R’s split by a wavy line standing in for the river, with RED RIVER MINT in spaced capitals below it and the weight and purity stamped near the base. The reverse is left intentionally blank, no design at all. The mark is simple, one hallmark and a purity stamp, nothing else struck on it.

Dorado Trade Group describes these bars as carrying a proof-like finish, with frosted lettering set against brighter fields rather than the coarse, uniformly matte surface typical of a poured bar.
