Machine-struck bars come out of the press identical to one another. Poured bars do not. Molten silver dropped into a mold cools on its own terms, so every bar develops its own surface texture, its own edge profile, and its own set of ripples and pits. This 10 troy ounce bar is .999 fine silver poured the traditional way and stamped with a Longhorn skull, and no two examples come out looking quite the same.
Key Features:
- Purity and Weight: 10 troy ounces of .999 fine silver
- Metal: Silver, hand poured rather than machine struck
- Obverse: Longhorn skull with sweeping horns, stamped .999 SILVER, 10, and OZT
- Reverse: Raw poured surface with the Hero Bullion shield mark
The face carries a longhorn skull stamped into the center of the bar, its horns sweeping wide across nearly the full width, curving up at the tips. The skull itself is rendered with defined eye sockets and a tapered muzzle. .999 SILVER is stamped in outlined block lettering across the top, with 10 to the left of the skull and OZT to the right. The surrounding field carries the natural character of the pour: soft rippling, faint concentric flow lines, and a subtly domed profile where the silver settled. Edges are rounded and slightly irregular rather than machined square.
The reverse is left as it came out of the mold. The entire surface is heavily textured with a crystalline, frosted finish, the pebbled result of silver cooling against the mold face. At the lower left, the Hero Bullion shield mark is stamped into the surface. Small pits, ripples, and variations across the back are normal and expected on poured silver.
Bars ship new in a protective sleeve. Because each is individually poured, weight is guaranteed at a minimum of 10 troy ounces while surface appearance, edge shape, and stamp placement vary from bar to bar.
Ten ounces of pure silver with the look of a working foundry rather than a production line. Add the Longhorn 10 oz poured bar to your cart today.

I have bought quite a few of the Longhorn bars, for some reason, I thought it was their “house brand”….I have been a huge fan of Hero Bullion, as they have never failed me in any purchase since day 1. Honesty, integrity, and fast shipping are all words I would use to describe Hero Bullions
owner and crew. Great job, guys! Thanks!

The front is awesome except for one blemish. Hard to make them perfect but I’m still loving it. Would definitely buy again.

Bought two of these. First one was fine. Second one has a 3/8 x 3/4″ crater on the rear that is about 1/8″ deep. Not too big a deal but also has about 50 small pits on the face of the longhorn. The ear and the horn have been melded together. It weighed 10 ozt so just a cosmetic issue. Surprised they would sell this one in that condition. Gonna try and get a replacement.

This is a very nice bar by Hero Bullion. It’s just another example of the quality this company offers. Their service is great and they get packages out the door as fast as humanly possible.
