All Black, With the Name Kept Inside

The Goldback Wallet in black is a long leather wallet sized for Goldbacks, the gold notes launched in 2019. When it is closed, you see a plain black rectangle with stitched edges and no logo, just like any other long wallet. The GOLDBACK name only shows once you open it.

 

The Layout, Panel by Panel

Unfolded, the wallet has three working areas. The left panel has a pocket with a clear window near the bottom for a driver’s license or ID. A run of tall sleeves sits in the middle, deep enough for notes to stand upright. The right panel has two angled pockets for cards, with GOLDBACK pressed into the leather beneath them. It folds shut on its own, with no strap, snap, or zipper.

 

Small Notes, Real Gold

A 1 Goldback holds one thousandth of a troy ounce of 24K gold, held within a thin polymer coating, and larger denominations hold proportionally more. If you carry Goldbacks to spend, you may have several denominations with you at once. Tall sleeves let them sit side by side and flat, and you can sort them by value instead of digging through a folded stack.

 

Wallet Only

The order is for the wallet alone. No Goldbacks come with it, and it is an accessory rather than a precious metal product.

Does the outside show the Goldback name?

No. The outside is plain black. GOLDBACK is embossed on the inside, on the right panel below the card pockets.

 

Does it have a strap or clasp?

Not on the wallet in our photos. It folds closed without a strap, snap, or zipper.

 

Does it come with any Goldbacks?

No. Goldbacks are sold separately.

 

What else fits besides Goldbacks?

An ID in the clear window, cards in the two angled pockets, and anything flat in the large left pocket.

  • How much do I pay for shipping?

    Shipping on all domestic orders is free starting at $149. At checkout, you may be presented with additional shipping options for an additional fee.

During and around holidays and in times of increased demand, orders may take longer to process for shipping. If the instance that your order is delayed in shipping, a notice will be sent.

    Yes. We fully insure each and every package while in transit. On the rare occasion that a loss occurs while in transit to you, our insurance coverage will engage.

     

  • Can you deliver my order to a PO Box?

    On most occasions, yes. In some instances, size, weight or value limitations may prohibit delivery to a PO Box. In those cases, a street address must be provided.

     

  • Will I have to sign for my package when it arrives?

    All orders $500 and over require signature upon delivery. If your order is less than $500, you may purchase a shipping option that requires signature delivery at checkout for an additional fee.
