To use the Goldback UV Authenticator Penlight, simply turn it on and run the pen over the back of your Goldback(s). As with all UV light products, it is generally best to do this in dark conditions. If your Goldback is legitimate, you should see hidden text, including the numerical denomination of your Goldback (1, 5, 25, etc.) and the chemical sign for gold (AU) in an alternating pattern. Remember – this will only work on 2025+ series Goldbacks, as legacy Goldback notes do not include the UV authentication feature.
The Goldback project is quickly expanding.
