Engelhard bars are very popular since they are known to be high quality but are no longer in production. So, the quantity available is fairly low. Even more rare, is this fractional Engelhard bar in an assay card. This is the Engelhard ¼ oz Platinum Bar in Assay Card. Platinum has a unique look and feel and this one is made of high quality .9995 fine platinum.

Key features:

  • Quantities very limited as no longer in production
  • Made of ¼ Troy ounce of .9995 fine platinum
  • Produced by Engelhard.
  • Individual serial number for each bar

Engelhard was once the world’s largest precious metal smelter and perhaps most known for being the company that created the first production catalytic converter. They were bought out by a German chemical company. Their name still commands respect and these bars are a testimony of their work.

The 1/4 oz bar’s obverse has the Engelhard logo on it, the weight, purity, and ENGELHARD inscribed on it. On the reverse side of the bar is the Engelhard logo repeated all over it.

Platinum is one of the rarest metals on Earth and has a lower annual production than gold or silver. This makes it scarce which makes it valuable and very desirable. There are many industrial uses for platinum so there is always a demand for it. Platinum is known for its durability, resistance to corrosion and tarnishing, and its ability to maintain its appearance over time. These properties make it a popular choice for jewelry and other decorative items, further contributing to its value and desirability. Investors like to include it in their portfolio as another hedge against inflation.

These ¼ oz Platinum Bars are sure to be very popular and because they aren’t in production any more, we don’t know how long we will have them so get yours today.
