Titanium doesn’t follow the usual rules of the metals world — and neither does this bar. The Elemental 1 Pound Titanium Bar by Chalcolithic Metals is a bold departure from conventional bullion, designed for the collector who appreciates what makes a metal truly extraordinary. Cast from Commercially Pure Grade 1 Titanium — the highest-purity grade of the metal — and laser-etched with its own periodic table entry, this bar is equal parts science artifact and conversation-starting display piece. It’s the kind of object that earns a spot on a desk just as naturally as it does in a metals collection.
Key Features:
- Metal: Titanium — Commercially Pure (CP) Grade 1
- Weight: 1 Pound (16 AVDP ounces)
- Purity: CP Grade 1 — the purest commercially available titanium grade
- Origin: USA
- Mint: Chalcolithic Metals
- Finish: Smooth
- Dimensions: 2.5″ x 5″ x 0.5″
- Obverse Design: Periodic table-style panel etched with titanium’s atomic symbol (Ti), atomic number (22), atomic weight (47.87), melting point (1660°C), and density (4.54 g/cc), with “ONE POUND TITANIUM · CP Grade 1 · ★ USA ★” below
- Reverse: Smooth, unadorned surface with natural casting character
The face of this bar does something genuinely clever: it turns the bar itself into a three-dimensional entry from the periodic table. Centered on the upper half is a crisp, etched panel styled after the familiar element box found in every chemistry classroom — bearing the bold symbol “Ti”, flanked by the atomic number 22 above and the atomic weight 47.87 below. Running vertically along the left edge is titanium’s melting point of 1660°C — a staggering temperature that speaks to the metal’s extraordinary thermal resilience — and along the right, its density of 4.54 g/cc, a figure that explains why titanium feels surprisingly light for its size and strength. Below the panel, the bar’s credentials are laid out in clean, sans-serif engraving: “ONE POUND TITANIUM · CP Grade 1 · ★ USA ★” — straightforward, no-frills, and entirely appropriate for a metal that has always let its properties do the talking. The overall aesthetic is industrial-scientific, with the kind of honest, undecorated design language that engineers and collectors both respond to.
The reverse is left intentionally smooth, free of markings or imagery. Depending on the individual bar, the surface may carry faint swirl patterns or light tooling marks inherited from the casting process — subtle evidence of the bar’s hand-finished origins that add character rather than detract from it. In a market flooded with machine-perfect finishes, that tactile honesty is part of the appeal.
Titanium occupies a unique position among structural metals. It is as strong as many steels yet roughly 45% lighter, which is why it is the material of choice for aerospace components, military hardware, surgical implants, marine fittings, and high-performance automotive parts. CP Grade 1 is the softest and most ductile of the four commercially pure grades, offering maximum corrosion resistance — including exceptional resistance to seawater — making it one of the most versatile and durable metals on earth. Owning a full pound of it in bar form is a genuinely rare experience.
At 2.5″ x 5″ x 0.5″, this bar has real physical presence without being oversized — substantial enough to make an impression as a desk piece or display item, compact enough to store alongside other metals in a collection. Unlike precious metals, titanium is not traded on commodity exchanges, meaning its value lies more in its material properties, novelty, and collector appeal than in daily spot pricing — which also means it sits at an accessible price point that makes it an easy addition or an excellent gift. Produced in the USA by Chalcolithic Metals, each bar arrives in new condition.
Not every piece in a metals collection needs to be gold or silver. The Elemental 1 Pound Titanium Bar earns its place through sheer originality — a full pound of one of the most technologically significant metals on earth, etched with the very data that defines it. It’s a gift that works for the science enthusiast, the metals collector, the engineer, or anyone who simply wants something genuinely different on their shelf.
Add it to your order today — unique bars like this tend to disappear quietly and rarely come back in stock.

I bought two of the Spacewalker bars. They’re so different from the other Bullion I’ve purchased, they’re light and mirror finished. Shipping in zip-lock sleeves and bubble mailers keeps them safe from scuffs.
The artistry is superb, really a talented guy and the bar is perfect. Thanks again

Unbelievable hunk of metal! I was not interested in the value of the Titanium as a precious metal so much as it is just beautiful! Nice find.

Honestly, I did not (and still do not) care about the speculative/investment aspect of owning titanium. But the price is right and I wanted to hold some titanium in my hands. And boy am I happy. Very cool bars and the titanium is such an interesting deep gray but yet it’s still very shiny.
