The BU 90% Silver Franklin Halves $10 Face Roll is a great way to add a quantity of silver to your collection. This isn’t just plain silver added to your collection though. These are the beautifully designed silver half dollars that date between 1955 and 1963. In this roll you get 20 of these Brilliant Uncirculated condition coins. All together, these coins have a combined face value of $10 and a total of more than 7 oz of silver.
Key features:
- Made of 7.23 oz actual Silver weight.
- 20 coins per roll
- Coins dated from 1955 to 1963
- Obverse has Benjamin Franklin with ‘LIBERTY’ above and IN GOD WE TRUST’ below
- Reverse has the Liberty Bell with a small eagle to the right as all half dollars have an eagle on them
The obverse side has John Sinnock’s design of Benjamin Franklin. Here he is shown facing the right wearing his trademark coat and ascot tie. Most of the US coins in circulation have had a president on them but Franklin was never president. He was, however, one of the men instrumental in founding this country as one of the “Sons of Liberty”. Fittingly, above his head is ‘LIBERTY’ and below his picture is ‘IN GOD WE TRUST”.
On the reverse is the Liberty Bell in high detail where we can clearly see the crack in it and the grain of the wood at the top. To the right of the picture is a small eagle. This keeps to the tradition that the half dollar always has an eagle on the reverse side. Above the eagle design is ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’. Below the image is ‘HALF DOLLAR’. The left of the bell is ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’ , the Latin phrase meaning ‘From many, one’.
The year and mint marks for these coins are determined by stock on hand.
Every collection should have these classic coins in them anyway and this is a great opportunity to get a quantity of them and add some silver to your portfolio. Be sure to get yours today.
