Here is your opportunity to get your hands on four of the Standing Liberty Quarters which are some of the most sought after coins in the industry. These are 90% Silver and have a very popular design. They were minted from 1916-1930. They are being bought up by collectors so they are becoming more and more scarce.
Key features:
- Total Silver weight of all four coins is approximately .712 ounces
- Obverse side of the coin has Lady Liberty, dressed in military attire, walking through a gate holding an olive branch and a shield
- Reverse side has an eagle in flight with its wings outstretched.
- Coins are dated 1916-1930 (mostly in the late 20s) subject to stock on hand
When these coins were introduced in 1916 the Standing Liberty Quarter soon became popular. The people appreciated the follow-up to the Seated Liberty design and quickly embraced it. One of the unintended results of the design was that the dates quickly wore off. In 1925 the date was recess to combat this problem. The result today is that coins prior to 1925 are even more desirable.
The obverse side of the coin features a design with Liberty standing wearing military attire. She is holding a shield in her left hand and has an olive branch in her right. To the right and left on the gate she is walking through are 13 stars total for the original 13 colonies. On the gate is written ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’. Above her is written “LIBERTY’.
On the reverse side is an eagle in flight. To the right and left of the image and under it are 13 starts total again for the colonies. Above the eagle is ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’. Between the eagle’s wings is ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’, the Latin phrase meaning “From many, one.” At the bottom of this side is “QUARTER DOLLAR” referring to the face value of this coin.
There aren’t many more ‘Standing Liberty Quarters available for purchase as many collectors are buying them all up. Get yours today before they are all gone.
