The China 30 gram Gold Panda BU stands as a testament to the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Chinese coinage. This coin, which is not sealed and comes from a random year, is a part of a unique series that changes its design annually. Its allure lies not just in its .999 fine Gold composition but also in its representation of China’s beloved national animal, the panda. With its international appeal and the guarantee from the People’s Bank of China, this coin is a prized possession for both collectors and investors.

Key Features:

  • Contains 30 grams of .999 fine Gold.
  • Features a yearly changing design.
  • Comes in protective packaging.
  • Guaranteed by the People’s Bank of China.
  • Years of our choice.

The Gold Pandas were first introduced in 1982, starting with sizes like 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz. In 1983, the 1/20 oz size was added, and some years even saw the minting of 5 oz and 12 oz Gold coins. 2016 marked a significant change when China transitioned to the metric system sizes to cater to the coin’s global appeal. The design of the panda changes annually, making each year’s coin a unique collectible. The only exception was in 2002, which reused the 2001 design. However, after feedback from collectors, the tradition of annual design changes resumed in 2003.

The obverse side of the coin beautifully depicts the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This iconic structure is encircled by the inscription “People’s Republic of China” in Chinese, closed off by the year of issue.

The reverse side’s design varies based on the year of issue, but it always captures the essence and beauty of the panda in its natural habitat, making each year’s coin a unique masterpiece.

With its ever-evolving panda design, the China 30 gram Gold Panda BU is a dynamic fusion of art and investment. Each coin, minted in .999 fine Gold, tells a story of China’s rich heritage and the world’s adoration for its national treasure. Dive into a legacy that’s as precious as the metal it’s crafted from.
