The Sleipnir Ultra Double High Relief release is the most technically ambitious entry in the 2026 Germania Beasts lineup. At 2 troy oz of .9999 fine silver, it doubles the weight of the standard issue and applies a far more complex finishing process: ruthenium plating across both faces, combined with Antique Finish, UV Effect, Chameleon treatment, and selective Gold Plating — a combination of techniques that gives the piece a depth and dimensionality rarely achieved in collector silver. Strictly limited to 999 numbered pieces, each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a dedicated premium presentation package.

The obverse presents Sleipnir’s head and front half in ultra double high relief, the sculpted form rising dramatically above the coin’s deep ruthenium-plated field. The horse’s musculature is rendered with exceptional anatomical precision — chest, shoulder, and neck all carved with individual surface planes that catch light differently depending on viewing angle. The mane sweeps in long carved waves across the upper field, finished in a cool blue-silver tone that contrasts against the darker plated background. Around his neck, an ornate Celtic knotwork collar is selectively gold-plated, its warm tone standing out sharply against the surrounding silver and ruthenium. Each of the four visible legs wears a matching gold-plated knotwork band just above heavily feathered hooves. The overall effect of the combined finishing techniques gives the piece a shifting, almost otherworldly quality that changes with light and perspective. SLEIPNIR is inscribed in the left field, and 2oz Ag 999.9 appears vertically near the lower left, with designer initials ND at the base.
The reverse continues the composition with Sleipnir’s rear half in full gallop, the four remaining legs completing his legendary eight-legged anatomy. Their gold-plated leg bands match those on the obverse, maintaining visual continuity across both faces. The tail streams upward and to the right in the same blue-toned chameleon finish as the mane, shifting subtly in different lighting conditions. An armored saddlebag with overlapping scale panels is strapped to his flank, pressed in precise relief detail. To the right of the horse, the Germania Mint double-headed eagle appears in the same antique silver treatment as the surrounding field, reinforcing the coin’s series identity. GERMANIA 2026 and 10 MARK are inscribed cleanly across the upper field.
Each coin is housed in a clear Acrylic Glass Display set on an engraved wooden base reading “THE GERMANIA BEASTS — Sleipnir 2 OZ AG 999.9”, with Celtic knotwork decoration laser-engraved into the wood. The display holds the coin upright for presentation, fully visible through the acrylic panel. The complete set ships inside a Qureco box finished in black leatherette with gold Germania Mint branding on the front panel and gold corrugated detailing on the sides.
