Fractional platinum with genuine mythological weight behind it. This Liberia-issued coin puts the Greek god of the underworld on a 12mm platinum piece struck to .999 fineness, limits the edition to 9,999, and delivers it on an illustrated card that treats the subject with appropriate darkness and scale.

Key Features:

  • Metal: .999 Fine Platinum
  • Weight: 1/500 Troy Ounce
  • Face Value: $25 (Legal Tender, Liberia)
  • Year: 2026
  • Diameter: 12mm
  • Mintage: 9,999 — Strictly Limited
  • Issuing Country: Liberia
  • Serial Numbered: Yes — each piece individually numbered
  • Obverse: Hades enthroned — a massive bearded deity with horned crown, wielding a sword and scepter, flanked by three snarling hellhounds; executed in dense monochromatic ink-illustration style with swirling smoke and shadow throughout; HADES in bold white lettering
  • Reverse (card): Deep slate and charcoal illustrated card continuing the same ink-work scene; embedded coin at upper left; full Certificate of Authenticity panel listing all specifications; IN PLATINUM WE TRUST motto with issuer seal at lower left

The card artwork leaves no ambiguity about the subject. Hades fills the composition as an immense long-bearded deity, horned crown rising into a turbulent upper field of smoke and shadow. A broad sword extends from one hand while the other grips a heavy scepter. Three hellhounds occupy the foreground — Cerberus rendered across multiple snarling heads, teeth bared, flanking their master on either side. The entire scene is executed without color, built entirely from line weight, cross-hatching, and tonal contrast. Swirling smoke and windswept fur press into every corner of the frame, giving the image constant forward energy. The small platinum coin is embedded directly into the card near the upper left, positioned naturally within the composition rather than set apart from it.

The Certificate of Authenticity panel records all key specifications: issuing country (Liberia), year (2026), face value ($25), metal (Platinum), fineness (.999), weight (1/500 troy ounce), diameter (12mm), and mintage (9,999). Each piece carries its own individual serial number. The IN PLATINUM WE TRUST motto and issuer seal anchor the lower left corner of the card.

Platinum fractionals at any mintage are uncommon in the collector market. Paired with individual serial numbering and a presentation card this fully realized, the Hades coin works equally well in a metals portfolio or mounted on a display wall. Secure your numbered piece before the edition closes.
