The American Silver Eagle series, launched in 1986, remains one of the most recognized and widely collected silver bullion programs in the world. The 2025-P $1 American Silver Eagle with First Eagle Privy continues this legacy with an added layer of significance. Struck from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, this Philadelphia-minted coin is part of a limited mintage release and comes graded PCGS MS70 with the First Strike designation. Featuring a distinctive First Eagle privy mark and housed in a label adorned with the U.S. flag, this release appeals to both bullion investors and collectors who value early-issue pedigree and exceptional strike quality.

Key Features

  • 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver

  • Obverse design: Walking Liberty by Adolph A. Weinman with enhanced details and 2025 date

  • Reverse design: Landing eagle design by Emily Damstra with inscriptions and enhanced security edge

  • Minted by the U.S. Mint – Philadelphia facility

  • Features First Eagle privy mark

  • PCGS-certified MS70 with First Strike designation

  • American flag-themed label enhances its presentation appeal

The obverse retains the updated Type 2 version of the classic Walking Liberty, a design originally used on U.S. half dollars from 1916 to 1947. Lady Liberty moves forward toward the rising sun, symbolizing progress and renewal, while draped in the American flag. The enhanced version introduced in 2021 includes Weinman’s initials and finer detailing in the sun’s rays, gown folds, and surrounding inscriptions. The First Eagle privy mark appears subtly near the rim, distinguishing this edition from standard bullion strikes.

The reverse features the more recent eagle landing design by Emily Damstra. Depicted in mid-descent with an oak branch in its talons, the eagle embodies realism and grace. Surrounding inscriptions denote the issuing nation, face value, weight, and silver purity. The anti-counterfeit reeded edge variation introduced with the Type 2 redesign remains in place, adding a modern security element to this otherwise traditionally styled piece.

Combining high purity, a perfect strike, early-release designation, and a special privy mark, the 2025-P American Silver Eagle with First Eagle Privy and PCGS MS70 First Strike certification delivers long-term appeal. Its status as an early Philadelphia strike and presentation in a patriotic label further support its position as a standout in both investment and collector categories.
