The American Silver Eagle series has stood as a cornerstone of modern U.S. bullion coinage since its inception in 1986. Celebrated for its enduring patriotic designs and backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, the series remains a reliable choice for both investors and collectors. The 2025-P $1 American Silver Eagle with the “First Eagle” privy mark, certified NGC MS70 with the Brown Label, adds historical intrigue and exclusivity to this legacy. Struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and issued by the Philadelphia Mint, this piece represents the highest standard of silver craftsmanship and American numismatic heritage.

Key Features

  • 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver

  • Obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty design with “First Eagle” privy mark

  • Reverse showcases Emily Damstra’s modern bald eagle motif

  • Struck by the Philadelphia Mint

  • NGC-certified MS70 with Brown Label

  • Special-edition “First Eagle” privy enhances collectible appeal

  • U.S. legal tender with $1 face value

The obverse side revives Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty, originally seen on half dollars from 1916 to 1947. Liberty strides confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the American flag and carrying laurel and oak branches. New to this edition is the “First Eagle” privy mark, located to the left of Liberty, denoting the coin’s place in a unique subset of the Silver Eagle series and adding a layer of significance for dedicated collectors.

The reverse, introduced in 2021, features an American bald eagle in flight, grasping an oak branch as it descends—a design created by U.S. Mint artist Emily Damstra. The detailing emphasizes movement and strength, while inscriptions such as “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER” reaffirm its status as official bullion. The P mint mark confirms it was struck at the historic Philadelphia Mint.

With its flawless NGC MS70 grade, unique privy mark, and refined design, the 2025-P American Silver Eagle “First Eagle” edition offers strong appeal for anyone seeking high-quality silver with added rarity. Whether you’re building a long-term collection or looking for a secure bullion investment with numismatic upside, this piece stands out as a smart and meaningful acquisition.
