The obverse carries the left-facing portrait of King Charles III, his hair worked in fine individual strands and his jacket, collar, and tie rendered with crisp lines across the truncation. CHARLES III and AUSTRALIA arc across the top of the coin, separated by the portrait, while the 10 DOLLARS face value runs along the bottom rim between two raised dots. A beaded border frames the design.
The reverse belongs to the bird. A kookaburra perches in profile on a bare, forked branch, its long pointed beak angled slightly upward and its plumage detailed feather by feather across the wing and down the tail. The background field is filled with radiating sunburst lines that push the bird forward visually. KOOKABURRA is stamped in large block letters that curve down the right side of the coin, with 35TH ANNIVERSARY running just inside it. Along the upper left edge sit the year, weight, and purity: 2025 10oz 9999 SILVER. The P mintmark identifying Perth appears at the left, and a small circular privy mark showing a kookaburra on a branch sits near the base of the design.
