Buying by the box is how you get the lowest per-coin price on Silver Eagles. Each monster box holds 500 coins packed as 25 tubes of 20, totaling 500 troy ounces of .999 fine silver, all dated 2024 and struck at the West Point Mint. Boxes arrive sealed exactly as they left the U.S. Mint, unopened and unsorted.

Key Features:

  • Purity and Weight: 500 troy ounces total; each coin holds 1 oz of .999 fine silver
  • Metal Type: Silver, struck by the United States Mint
  • Obverse Design: Walking Liberty by Adolph A. Weinman
  • Reverse Design: Landing eagle by Emily Damstra

The obverse carries Weinman’s Liberty striding left toward a rising sun, the American flag draped over her shoulder and blown back in the wind, oak and laurel branches gathered in one arm. LIBERTY arcs across the top rim, IN GOD WE TRUST sits in the right field, and 2024 appears at the base. The design first appeared on the 1916 half dollar and was brought back for the Eagle program in 1986.

The reverse shows Damstra’s bald eagle coming in to land, wings fully spread and talons reaching for a branch, with an oak sprig below. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA curves along the left rim and ONE DOLLAR runs across the bottom, with 1 OZ. FINE SILVER and E PLURIBUS UNUM filling the right side. This design replaced Mercanti’s heraldic eagle partway through 2021.

Boxes are the Mint’s standard green plastic case, printed with UNITED STATES MINT and the West Point facility name, secured with tamper-evident straps and a serialized tracking label. Individual coins measure 40.6 mm across and 2.98 mm thick, with a reeded edge and $1 legal tender status.

Sealed boxes resell at a premium over loose coins because buyers know nothing has been picked through or substituted. Dealers recognize the packaging on sight. Since the Mint issues Eagles only in the year of their date, a 2024 box also fixes a specific year in your holdings rather than leaving it to chance. Order yours today and we will ship it insured and discreetly packaged.
