It isn’t difficult to understand why the Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars have become so popular among global coin collectors. Each coin features a beautiful artistic rendering of Lady Liberty, and the reverses pay homage to the bald eagle, national bird of the United States. Even in the original series, which ceased in the early 1900s, these coins boasted exceptional intricacy on both the reverse and obverse.

In 2023, the U.S. Mint has finally decided to release modern versions of these two coins to celebrate their history and legacy. Investors anticipated the official unveiling in 2021, but plans were scrapped for two years. Today, we’re excited to bring the 2023 Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar Set NGC MS70 to our customers.

The set is struck using .999 pure silver, an improvement on the .90 fineness offered by the original coins they’re based on. Each coin comes with the official NGC “red book” label to certify its authenticity and condition – MS70.

Key Features:

  • .859 troy ounces of silver (.999 fine)
  • MS70 certified condition by NGC
  • Red Book label
  • Original reverse/obverse silver dollar designs
  • Uncirculated finish

The newest release of these classic American silver dollars also offers an exceptionally low mintage. The U.S. Mint only produced 275,000 of each coin and even limited household purchases to no more than 25 coins. With the unprecedented collector demand for uncirculated bullion Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars, we’re excited to get our hands on a few to sell to our own customers.

Striking the coins with extremely fine .999 silver, the U.S. Mint manages to bring these coins into 2023 without cheapening the beautiful original designs that made them staples of numismatic coinage for generations. Original artwork on both coins remains unchanged, but the brilliant silver composition and uncirculated finish from the U.S. Mint makes them appear brand new and shine in any collection.

Collectors were excited for the 2021 release of these coins, and demand has been building for nearly two years. Now, the U.S. Mint’s newest line of 2023 Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars are primed to make a splash in the bullion coin world.

MS70 is the highest possible Sheldon scale grade that can be given to a coin. Each coin in the 2023 Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar Set is certified at MS70 and comes with the official certification documents provided by the United States Mint.

We love the work that the U.S. Mint has done to bring these classic American coins into the 21st century – and you will, too.
