This bullion grade round is struck using .9999 fine silver and features Germania on the obverse armed with the imperial sword, Reichsshwert in her right hand and a shield in her left. The silver really makes Germania, dressed in a breastplate of armor and a laurel wreath on her head, really pop with all the intricate detail. She appears to be stepping ashore. Behind her is a ship anchored at the shore. The image is bordered by the words ‘Germania’, ‘2022’, and ‘1 kg 999.9 Ag’.

The reverse side of the coin features the symbol of the Germania Mint. a fierce two-headed eagle with each head looking in a different direction. Clutched in its claws are lightning bolts. This effigy is inspired by Janus the figure from Germanic mythology. The words ‘80 Mark’ are listed above the image and ‘Germania’ appears below.
