The 2022 Australian 10 oz Silver Dingo Coin is the fourth offering from the wildly popular Next Generation series. This issue shows a mother dingo and her pup. This scene looks gorgeous in .9999 fine silver. Coins from this series have sold out in the past so these will probably go fast.
Key features:
- Made of 10 Troy ounces of .9999 fine silver
- Mintage of just 2,500 coins
- Fourth in the Next Generation Series
- Minted by the Perth Mint
- Obverse side has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
- The reverse has the image of a mother dingo and her pup
- Arrives in original Perth Mint clear capsule
On the obverse of this coin is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Designed by Jody Clark, this depiction of the queen shows the queen at age 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown and dangle earrings. She looks regal and determined as every detail of her face is detailed here including the lines around her eyes. On the queen’s right shoulder are Jody Clark’s initials, ‘JC’.At the top is ‘ELIZABETH II’ and ‘AUSTRALIA’. Below her image is ‘10 oz 99999 Ag’ and ‘2022’ and ‘10 DOLLARS:
The reverse features a dingo and her pup. Dingoes are found over most of Australia and are considered native to the country. They are essentially a feral dog breed that may even be domesticated. They eat a wide variety of things and are comfortable around humans. This image shows a mother dingo and her attentive pup amid some wildflowers. This design is the only thing on this side besides the Perth Mint’s mark, ‘P’ and ‘AH’ for the artist, Aleysha Howarth, the designer of the coin.
With the Perth Mint, you can always count on great quality. This coin has an anti-counterfeit measure built into the reverse side. Micro-lasered into the design is a letter that is only detectable under a microscope. The idea is to make it a lot harder to counterfeit these coins. Counterfeiters prefer easy designs to duplicate.
As wildly popular as the Next Generation Series has been for the Perth Mint, this fourth offering is sure to sell out. Get your hands on the 2022 Australian Silver Dingo Coin now before they are gone.

Milk Spots like a Mutha!!! So much Milk, it was pouring down the edge! No exaggeration, the borax stains that cause Milk Spots manifested into drip lines along the thick edge of this 10oz Coin. Spots also on the main design, along Mother and Pup images. Highly disappointed. I can’t imagine convincing someone 5 years from now they should pay me Top Dollar for this thing. This will be a Long Term Hold to get that Vintage premium out of it, HA!
It’s not Hero Bullion’s fault, but it’s not like I can tell Perth Mint about their crappy product….or can I…hmmm….

No milk for my cereal. I am very satisfied with the 10 oz coin and his little bro 2 oz coins. I am also very glad it comes in a capsule to keep my mitts off from it. Great product and Hero shipped FAST as always.
