Between them is the Chinese character for tiger and ‘TIGER 2022’. To the left of the coin is ‘P’ for Perth Mint’s print mark. At the bottom of the coin in the rocky ledge are the initials ‘JM’ for Jennifer Mckenna.

The obverse of the coin has the Jody Clark Queen Elizabeth II design with her profile facing right. She is wearing the diadem crown, necklace and dangle earrings. Clark’s design is a tremendous likeness of the queen and looks great in .9999 fine silver. Above the queen’s head is ‘Elizabeth II Australia’. Below her portrait is ‘1 Kilo 9999 Ag’ and ‘30 Dollars’.

The Perth Mint started as another location for the Royal Mint in 1899. It later became its own entity making legal tender for Australia. It continues to make coinage for Australia but has evolved into a mint that also makes high quality decorative coins and bullion. Understandably, the mint has a rich tradition of expertise that comes from experience. That expertise has led them to take modern minting technology and make coins that are things of beauty as they have become trend setters in their super popular series of coins.

Don’t let this opportunity to buy this great quality coin get away. The 2022 Australian 1 Kilo Silver Lunar Tiger coin is a beautiful design that really shines in bullion grade .9999 fine silver. This design minted by the masterful hands of the Perth Mint makes a coin everyone should have in their collection.
