2022 5 Gram Silver Note – Iron Maiden Senjutsu

The 2022 5 Gram Iron Maiden Senjutsu Silver Note is what happens when two legends come together to celebrate a milestone. The CIT mint honors the legendary heavy metal band, Iron Maiden in the release of their 17th studio album, Senjusu. This note follows on the heels of the band’s hugely popular Number of the Beast coin. Like this coin, the Senjutsu note has a very limited run with this one being only 5000 available worldwide.

The band, Iron Maiden has been performing since their inception in 1975. A lot of bands end up fading away or taking time off for a few years but Iron Maiden has kept performing all over the world. They have released 17 studio albums and 24 live albums. Together they have sold over 200,000 copies worldwide and still play to sold-out shows in stadiums all over the world. Despite their years, they show no sign of slowing down and as they say in their title song “Wherever you are Iron Maiden’s gonna get you,No matter how far.”

 

On the obverse side of this note is the image of Queen Elizabeth II  stamped in 5g of .999 fine silver. The note use shiny and matte finishes to highlight elements. The queen is stamped into the shiny finish area and behind her is the British Flag that is created with a matte finish. Above her is Elizabeth II and Cook Islands written in Iron Maiden’s signature font. Below her is ‘One Dollar’ in the same font. To the right of the queen is a circle made with stars and ‘Silver .999 5000 Limited Run 2022’.

 

The reverse side of the note features Eddie a figure that is featured in detailed artwork on most of the band’s album covers. Eddie is shown in full color in shogun warrior armor with a sword and ‘Iron Maiden’ is emblazoned over him. To the left of Eddie is ‘Senutsu’ written in what looks like blood and there is blood all over the note.
