This coin is a brilliant uncirculated coin and features the end design for the Queen’s beast collection. The Queen’s Beast Series started with the Lion of England coin in 2016 celebrating the oldest heraldic animal. Following this coin, two coins were released in 2017, and a release each year in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. The heraldic beasts included in the series are the Lion of England, the Griffin of Edward III, the Falcon of the Plantagenets, the Black Bull of Clarence, the Yale of Beaufort, the White Lion of Mortimer, the White Greyhound of Richmond, the Red Dragon of Wales, the Unicorn of Scotland, and the White Horse of Hanover.

The obverse side of the coin has Jody Clark’s design of Queen Elizabeth II. This design has the queen as she looked at age 89 wearing the diadem crown. The portrait has a guilloche texture that makes the queen’s portrait really pop.

On the reverse is the whole assortment of beasts that were featured in the series. Each appeared on their own coin throughout the series that started in 2016. All beasts are in order of appearance starting with the Lion of England and ending with the White Greyhound of Richmond.
