Your bar may be one of those or another refiner’s. Some 100 gram bars are minted, struck flat from rolled sheet with crisp lettering. Others are cast, poured into a mold with rounded edges and a rippled surface, like the Valcambi in the photo. Each one is stamped with its maker’s mark, its weight and its fineness.
New, Sealed, Loose or Handled
Condition on this listing varies. Some bars come to us new in the refiner’s sealed packaging, and when that is how a bar arrives, that is how it ships to you. Others are secondary-market bars that may be out of their packaging or show light handling marks. You cannot request a refiner, a minted or cast bar, or a packaging condition. None of it changes the gold in the bar.

Will my bar be minted or cast?
Either. Minted bars are struck flat and sharp, and cast bars are poured and have softer edges and a textured surface. The weight is 100 grams either way.
Will it come in an assay card?
It may or may not. Some bars arrive sealed in the refiner’s packaging and some arrive without it, and packaging cannot be requested on this listing.
