1 Utah Goldback Aurum Gold Note

The 1 Utah Goldback Aurum Gold Note represents the smallest denomination of the Aurum Goldbacks and is the smallest form of tradeable gold. Each gold foil note contains 1/1000 troy oz of pure gold. Utah Goldbacks each have a beautiful highly detailed design and are welcomed as legal tender by many merchants in Utah. These bills were inspired by the passage of the Utah Legal Tender Act of 2011 which was passed to allow for recognizable forms of gold for payment in the state.

Appearing on several of the Utah Goldback notes is the embodiment of prudence-Prudence or Prudentiae. On this note she is depicted as an indigenous figure that is native to the region. Prudence, or what we might call cautiousness, is the ability to discipline or govern yourself with reason. 

This Goldback comes brand-new and is beautiful with full color pictures and text. Because the notes are so thin, the image is mirrored on the back of the note. Each denomination of note features a different distinctive design. 

Prudence is shown here on the obverse of the 1 Utah Goldback Aurum Gold Note in a traditional dress that was worn by the indigenous tribes like the Ute and Paiute people. At the bottom is ‘Prudentia’ which is the Latin word that “Prudence’ was derived from. This word has come to mean insight, knowledge and wisdom. 

The 1 Utah Goldback Aurum Gold Note as all the Goldbacks are the result of the Utah Legal Tender Act that passed in 2011. This bill was to give the people of Utah a form of gold currency that would be recognized by the people. Now these notes are accepted at many local merchants and vendors throughout Utah. They also make for an easy option for people to get into buying gold.
