BRITANNIA runs along the left rim, 1 OZ sits at the top, and 999 FINE SILVER curves down the right. Nathan’s signature appears at the base. The field behind her is worked in a rippling wave texture with a latent security feature that shifts between a trident and a padlock depending on viewing angle, plus micro-lettering and surface animation around the border.

The obverse shows a right-facing profile of the reigning monarch against a finely engraved granular field. Coins from earlier years carry Jody Clark’s Queen Elizabeth II portrait with ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · F · D · 2 POUNDS. Later issues bear the uncrowned King Charles III effigy reading CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 2 POUNDS.
