These coins have spanned a period of time that includes the founding of the Ottoman Empire through World War I then the dissolving of the empire and the founding of the Republic of Turkey. These coins were issued between 1923-1999. Each coin has a composition of .9167 fine gold. The date of the coin you receive is dependent on stock on hand.

On the reverse side of the coin is a laurel wreath around the words ‘TURKIYE CUMHURIYETI’ which translates to the Republic of Turkey.
