Germania Mint traces its roots to a numismatic shop Apolinary Kurowski opened in Jelenia Gora, Poland, in 1986, long before the family business took the Germania name in 2018 and added silver cast bars to its lineup in 2021. The Germania Arms, Front and Back

The face carries the Germania coat of arms, a crowned, spread-winged eagle on a shield flanked by a laurel wreath, with GERMANIA MINT beneath it and the weight and purity stamped in the lines below. An individual serial number sits in a recessed panel near the base. The back is left in its raw cast state, coarse and uneven where the silver cooled in open air, no two bars quite alike. The back is left raw, the cooling pattern is never repeated exactly.

 

The Hologram Does the Verifying

A holographic label near the base of the bar carries the bar’s own identification code and shifts appearance as it turns in the light. Germania Mint registers that code and the bar’s serial number in its own database, so a buyer can check a specific bar against the mint’s own record rather than relying on the bar’s appearance alone. The hologram carries a code, checkable against the mint’s own database.

Germania Mint casts these bars from .9999 fine silver drawn from LBMA-certified sources, the same purity standard investment-grade silver is held to across the industry.
