The Aztec Yin & Yang round, also known as the 1 oz Silver Hunab Ku, draws on one of the most profound concepts in Aztec cosmology. Hunab Ku — translated as “The One God” — represented the supreme creative force in the Aztec universe, embodying the balance and interconnectedness of all opposing forces. This 1 oz .999 fine silver round, minted in the United States, translates that concept into two visually distinct faces that work together as a unified statement on cosmic duality. Collectors drawn to ancient symbolism and silver buyers looking beyond generic bullion will both find something here.
Key Features:
- Purity and Weight: 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver
- Dimensions: 39mm diameter, 3.1mm thickness
- Metal: Silver — minted in the United States
- Obverse Design: The Hunab Ku depicted as male and female Aztec deities in full ceremonial dress, jointly holding the Earth between them; dramatic rocky backdrop with radiating light; artist signature lower right
- Reverse Design: The traditional Aztec symbol for Hunab Ku at center — a circular dual motif with stepped geometric extensions radiating outward in eight directions; decorative Greek key border running the full circumference
The obverse presents a high-relief narrative scene of two Aztec figures representing the male and female aspects of Hunab Ku facing each other in a moment of shared cosmic purpose. Both wear elaborate feathered headdresses and layered ceremonial jewelry, with circular ornaments at the shoulders and waist clearly defined. Between them they jointly support a globe representing the Earth, each placing one hand beneath it. A dark rocky formation fills the background with radiating light breaking through from above, reinforcing the theme of creation and cosmic balance. An artist signature appears at the lower right. The relief depth across the headdresses, clothing layers, and facial features is notably strong for a privately minted round.
The reverse renders the traditional Hunab Ku symbol in Aztec geometric style — a circular dual-spiral form reinterpreted through stepped, angular lines rather than the smooth curves of the Eastern yin-yang tradition. Eight geometric arms extend outward in a sunburst arrangement, each built from the same stepped Aztec aesthetic. A Greek key meander pattern runs continuously around the full outer border, adding further decorative depth to the composition.
Struck at 39mm diameter and 3.1mm thick, the round fits standard 1 oz coin capsules. The frosted design elements against reflective fields give the complex obverse relief strong visual contrast. No date appears on either face.
One troy oz of .999 fine silver, a design rooted in genuine Aztec cosmological tradition, and U.S. mint production quality make this round a compelling purchase for collectors and stackers alike. Add the 1 oz Aztec Yin & Yang Silver Round to your cart today.

Love these Aztec series rounds! My first purchase was the Aztec Eagle Warrior 2nd round was the Aztec God of Death & now I just received Yin Yang! Very impressive silver pieces although the Yin Yang round has a few small imperfections @ the rim on the obverse side which in my opinion don’t harm the value or beauty of the round whatsoever. If it was a coin that would be a different scenario.Of course my next purchase will be the final piece Aztec Water Deity.I’ve been investing, collecting & hoarding silver for a long time now & purchase from over 30 PM sites & Hero Bullion has quickly become one of my favorite places for my PM needs. Have a blessed & healthy day. Peace Love & Happiness
