Used. It may be bright, toned or visibly handled, with scratches, spots or edge wear. The weight and fineness are the same either way.

 

Will a multi-bar order match?

Not necessarily. Several bars can arrive in different designs from different mints.

 

Why is it cheaper than a named-mint 5 oz bar?

You give up the choice of refiner, design and condition, and those are what a named-mint bar’s extra premium pays for. The silver content is the same.

 

When should I buy a named-mint bar instead?
