The 2025 Miyamoto Musashi release from the Legendary Warriors series salutes Japan’s greatest swordsman, the duelist who never lost in more than sixty matches and wrote The Book of Five Rings. Struck in two ounces of silver and certified perfect at NGCX Mint State 10, Antiqued, this $5 Niue legal tender coin is limited to just 500 pieces worldwide.

Key Features:

  • Contains 2 troy ounces of .999 fine silver with an antiqued finish and selective gold gilding
  • Certified NGCX 10, the perfect grade on NGC’s 10-point scale, in a black-core holder
  • Obverse: Miyamoto Musashi in high relief wielding twin gilded swords
  • Reverse: an armory of ancient weapons surrounding the Public Seal of Niue

The obverse captures Musashi in his famous two-sword stance, the heart of the Niten Ichi-ryu style he founded. The long katana and shorter companion blade cross before him, both struck in gold gilding down to their wrapped hilts, cutting bright lines across the antiqued silver of his flowing robes. His topknot and set expression carry the focus of a duelist mid-draw. Around him the scene fills with Japan: cherry blossoms branch across the left field, a tiered pagoda rises at the right, and a gilded moon glows behind his shoulder. MIYAMOTO MUSASHI arcs overhead in raised letters.

The reverse carries the series’ shared armory, with axes, swords, spears, a spiked mace, and a curved bow radiating from a central medallion bearing the Public Seal of Niue. LEGENDARY WARRIORS spans the top, and FINE SILVER, 2025, FIVE DOLLARS, and 2 oz 999 finish the border inscriptions.

Every coin arrives sealed in an NGC black-core holder with the Legendary Warriors label, the Mint State 10 Antiqued grade, and NGC’s verification barcode, keeping certification permanently paired with the coin.

Flawless certification, gilded sculptural artistry, and a 500-coin mintage make this a fitting monument to the sword saint of Japan. Order yours from Hero Bullion today before all 500 find their masters.
