The 2025 1/4 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf delivers a quarter troy ounce of 9999 fine gold from the Royal Canadian Mint, which pioneered four-nines purity in bullion coinage. Backed by the Canadian government with a $10 CAD face value, the Maple Leaf ranks among the most recognized gold coins on earth, and the quarter-ounce size makes that recognition available at a fraction of the one-ounce price.

Key Features:

  • Purity and Weight: 1/4 troy ounce of 9999 fine gold
  • Metal Type: Investment-grade gold bullion with a $10 CAD face value, IRA eligible
  • Obverse: King Charles III effigy by Steven Rosati, with the denomination and date
  • Reverse: The iconic sugar maple leaf on a radial-lined field with a micro-engraved security mark

The obverse carries Steven Rosati’s left-facing portrait of King Charles III, the effigy that joined Canadian coinage in 2024. CHARLES III arcs across the upper rim while 10 DOLLARS and 2025 frame the lower edge. The field behind the portrait radiates with the RCM’s machine-cut radial lines, which scatter light in a precise, repeatable pattern that doubles as an anti-counterfeiting measure.

The reverse presents the design unchanged in spirit since 1979: a single sugar maple leaf, every vein and serrated point struck in full texture against the radial-lined background. CANADA spans the top rim, the 9999 fineness appears on both sides of the leaf, and the bilingual inscription FINE GOLD 1/4 OZ OR PUR curves along the bottom. Near the stem sits a micro-engraved maple leaf privy containing the numeral 25, legible under magnification and matched to the coin’s year of issue as a further security layer.

Each coin arrives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. At 9999 fineness it exceeds IRS purity requirements and is fully eligible for precious metals IRAs. Quarter-ounce gold trades briskly worldwide and breaks a gold position into flexible, sellable units.

World-class purity, layered security, and a manageable price of entry. Order the 2025 1/4 oz Gold Maple Leaf today and add sovereign Canadian gold to your holdings.
