2022 Lady Germania 10 oz Silver Round

Germania, the personification of Germany, is the subject of the 2022 Lady Germania 10 oz Silver Round. Germania is shown here with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. Last year she was shown on a ship and this year it appears she has arrived because she is stepping ashore. The other side of the bullion grade round has the symbol of the Germania Mint. With only 1000 pcs in this run, this makes for a very rare and desirable round to have.

Germania Mint’s expertise is on full display in this limited edition bullion grade round. The .9999 fine silver really makes this design shine with Germania wielding her famous imperial sword ‘Reichsshert’ in her right hand. In her other hand is a shield and there is a ship in the background. She wears a laurel wreath on her head and a breastplate of armor. Etched around her portrait are the words ‘Germania 2022’ and ‘999.9 Ag’ 

 

The reverse side of the round depicts the symbol of the Germania Mint. This symbol that is reminiscent of Janus, the god from Germanic Mythology, is an eagle with two heads looking in different directions. Clutched in its claws are lightning bolt looking arrows. Around the mint’s symbol are the words ‘10 Mark’ and ‘Germania”. 

 

The Kurowski Group, a group of experts known for the thousands of numismatic projects they have overseen, founded the Germania Mint in 2018. The group insisted that the mint have a top-notch production process. All rounds are minted from precious metals of the highest quality.
