A Private Note, Not a Coin
This is a 1 Silverback silver note, .999 fine, from the Legends of Olympus series made by Goldback Inc. It holds 1/1000 of a troy ounce of silver, pressed into a flexible, banknote-style sheet rather than struck as a coin. Silverback is Goldback Inc.’s own denomination; no government issues or backs it, and it is not legal tender anywhere.
Hera on the Note
This piece is built around Hera, queen of the Olympian gods and wife of Zeus, worked into the same commanding-posture format the Legends of Olympus series opened with on Hades. The design sits inside an elaborate banknote-style border that blends classical imagery with modern security-printing detail, and the reverse carries a negative of the obverse, the way the series is built. Hera’s own emblems from myth, chief among them the peacock and the royal diadem, mark her as consort and queen of Olympus.
The Price Is for the Art, Not the Silver
Be plain about what you are buying. The silver in this note is a thousandth of a troy ounce, worth a fraction of a cent by weight, so almost none of the price is metal; you are paying for the printing, the artwork and the novelty format. It also carries no government backing: Silverback is a private issuer’s own denomination, not a coin any country mints or recognizes as currency.
How It Ships and How to Keep It
The note ships in protective packaging built for a paper-thin format, since a printed sheet can crease or tear in a way a struck coin cannot. Keep it flat, away from moisture, and out of a wallet or pocket where it would fold. Treat it the way you would treat currency you actually wanted to keep, not a coin you can toss in a jar.
Specifications

Hera Silverback FAQ
Is this a coin?
No. It is a flexible silver note, pressed rather than struck, in the Legends of Olympus series from Goldback Inc. The design and border are built to look like a banknote, but the silver inside is real.
How much silver is actually in it?
A thousandth of an ounce, a trace amount. The note is bought for the Hera design and the series format, not as a meaningful way to hold silver.
Is “1 Silverback” real currency?
No. It is Goldback Inc.’s own denomination, used across their silver and gold note lines. No government issues it or accepts it as legal tender.
Does the note match the rest of the Legends of Olympus series?
Yes. Like the Hades release before it, Hera is built in the same commanding-posture format with a banknote-style border and a negative reverse. Only the figure and the artwork change from piece to piece.
How should I store it?
Flat, dry and in its original packaging. A printed silver note can crease or tear in ways a struck coin cannot, so treat it more like a keepsake banknote than a coin for a jar or a pocket.
