Six categories of items on the Hero Bullion website are taxable when shipped to addresses in Missouri: copper items, some <.90 pure bullion products, currency, coins not meant for investment, accessories, and processed bullion items. 

Any product that does not fall into one of these six categories is tax-exempt in Missouri.

Non-Investment Bullion Coins Bullion coins worth a monetary amount equal to their face value are considered non-investment coins and are subject to sales taxation in Missouri.
Accessories Items used to hold, clean, maintain, or store precious metals are accessories and are taxed in Missouri.
Processed Bullion Processed bullion refers to any precious metal that has been sent to a third party to add monetary value to their bullion content. Jewelry, colorized coins, and certain other products fall into this category and are taxed by Missouri’s state government.
