The Incuse Indian $2.50 gold piece is the inspiration for the Incuse Indian 1 oz Silver Round. The $2.50 coin was the working man’s coin and was in circulation from 1908-1929. This round is made with 1 Troy oz of .999 fine silver.

Key features:

  • Made of 1 Troy oz of .999 fine silver
  • Replica of Indian $2.50 gold piece
  • Obverse side of the round has the image of a Native American chief
  • The reverse side has an eagle standing proud on a perch
  • Bears a matte finish
  • Multiples of 20 rounds arrive in tubes

The Incuse Indian $2.50 gold piece is one of the most coveted coins. This coin was in circulation from 1908-1929 in the United States and was considered the working man’s coin as this was one of the most carried coins. Many love that this coin actually was modeled after a real Native American and not just Liberty dressed in Native American garb.

The Native American chief shown on the obverse side of this round is facing to the left and looking proud in a full headdress. Above his head is ‘LIBERTY’. Below him is ‘1911’. Around the border are thirteen stars for the thirteen original colonies.

The reverse side has the image of a majestic eagle standing on a branch. Unlike the heraldic eagle, this eagle is standing with its wings folded looking fierce. Above him is ‘GOLDEN STATE MINT’’. To his left is ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’, the Latin phrase found on many US coins which means ‘FROM MANY ONE’. To the right of the eagle is ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’. Below the image is ‘1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER’. .

Investors like to buy silver to hedge against inflation. Silver comes in different forms but probably the most popular would be bars. Bars provide a way to get a quantity of silver that can be stacked. Cast bars are created by pouring molten metal into molds. The result is sharp sleek lines and unique striations in the metal as the metal cools. Cast bars also take on the design of the mold including any imperfections. As a result, no two bars are exactly the same.

This homage to the classic Incuse Indian $2.50 coin is a great way to buy silver and own a piece of history. Get yours today.

Just got my tube of 20 and they look beautiful. Love them. Thank you HERO BULLION.

  2. Terry L (verified owner)

Good Value for bullion. Purchased 100.
Most if not all had blemishes (some scratches) on the CHEEK. Definitely duller than most silver rounds, even some milk spotting on back side. Bought this for the silver mainly.

  3. anthony.h (verified owner)

Not shiny. Same observations as Terry L.
