One of the most popular classic toys for several generations has to be toy soldiers. A part of every kid’s toy soldier collection was a figure that carried an M16-looking gun waiting to ‘grease’ somebody. This Greaseman Gary 1 oz Copper Round is a tribute to that figure and the other plastic two soldiers we all played with as kids. You won’t step on these rounds though when walking across the floor in bare feet. Made from 1 AVDP oz of .999 fine copper.

Key features:

  • Made of 1 AVDP oz .999 fine copper
  • Part of the Soldier Bullion series
  • Obverse side has a soldier small machine gun
  • Reverse side series name and a star design

From the Blockchain Mint comes another round in the Soldier Bullion series. This series is inspired by the toy soldiers we all played with as kids. Depending on the era these toy soldiers may have been made of tin or plastic. These soldiers were a young boy’s dream as they reenact entire wars in their bedroom, in the living room, or even outside. The only limit was a child’s imagination.

This round features Greaseman Gary, a soldier carrying what looks like a small machine gun of some sort. In a different context, this weapon might be a grease gun but this weapon isn’t greasing any cars. This image has a cartoonish look and the character is so detailed you can make out a kind of smirk on his face.

The reverse side of the round has a star with the name of the series, Soldier Bullion. Below this star is ‘ONE OUNCE 999 COPPER’. The edge of the round has a reeded design.

The Greaseman Gary 1 oz Copper Round is a great way to capture the nostalgia of playing with toy soldiers and add some copper to your collection at the same time. Get yours today.
