The Canadian Silver Proof-Like Set is a great way to get six Canadian coins that are a part of Canada’s history but also a good way to get some silver. Each set has a total silver content of 1.11 oz .800 fine silver. These coins come packaged together in transparent plastic. They may or may not have the original envelope and insert. Every attempt is to include the original packaging with the set but due to the age of some of these coins, some of the packaging may have not survived the ages.

Key features:

The obverse side of these coins will most likely have the image of Queen Elizabeth II. The design for each coin may vary but the ruler of the time is to be featured on this side of the coins.

The obverse side of the coins vary by coin and date. The design for the 1 cent coin will probably feature a maple leaf as that is the most common. The five cent coin most likely will have a beaver on it. The ten cent coin is most likely to have a bluenose schooner on it. The design on the 25 cent coin will probably have a caribou design. The Canadian Coat of arms is the most likely design you will see on the 50 cent coin. It is almost certain that the one dollar coin will feature an indigenous Canadian in a canoe with a voyageur, a fur trader.

The coins in this set are proof-like in condition. They are akin to a proof quality in that they look a lot like a proof coin in reflection and finish. They may have actually seen some like circulation but they appear to not have been circulated in they look almost proof quality which is why they are called proof-like.
