From the Highland Mint comes this wonderful 2022 Year of the Tiger 1 oz Silver Round celebrating the year of the Tiger. This round features a unique design that not only has a fierce-looking tiger but also has the lunar calendar and where the years fall on the calendar. This design looks awesome in .999 fine silver.
Key features:
- Made of 1 Troy Ounce of .999 fine silver
- Product of the Highland Mint
- Obverse side has the image of a fierce tiger
- On the reverse side of the round is the lunar calendar with all the years for each year listed
The obverse side of this coin has a very fierce-looking tiger who looks to be on the prowl. He seems to be standing on a rock outcropping. To the right of him is the Chinese character for ‘tiger’. Above and to the right of that is ‘YEAR OF THE TIGER’. Below that is ‘2022’.
On the reverse side is a tribute to the whole lunar calendar. Each of the twelve animals in the lunar calendar is presented as spokes in a wheel: rabbit, dragon, snake; horse, sheep, monkey; rooster, dog, pig; rat, ox, and tiger. Inside each spoke are the years of that particular animal’s year. So if someone was born in 1968 they could look and see that they were born in the year of the monkey. Above each of the lunar animal names is a picture of the particular animal.
The 2022 Year of the Tiger 1 oz Silver Round is a wonderful opportunity to continue the tradition of the lunar calendar. It is perfect for someone who was born under that year or anyone who wants to collect all twelve of the coins in the series. It is also an opportunity to own some silver and take home a beautiful coin. Get yours today.
