Artist Monique Reeves designed the tiger image on the reverse of this coin. The image portrays a tiger standing proud on a peak. He is turned back left facing toward his tail. His mouth is open showing his sharp teeth. To his left is the Chinese character for tiger with ‘TIGER 2022’ underneath. Further left is written ‘P’ for the Perth Mint’s mint mark.

Jody Clark’s Queen Elizabeth design rounds out the obverse of this coin.Turned to her left, the queen is wearing her royal crown, dangle earrings and a necklace. The image is so detailed you can see her majesty’s crow’s feet around her eyes. Above her is ‘Elizabeth II’ and ‘Australia’.

Written below her image is ‘¼ oz 9999 Au’ and ‘25 DOLLARS’. Written on the queen’s right shoulder is ‘JC’ for Jody Clark’s initials.
