On the obverse is the image of Austria and Germania seated holding hands. Austria has her sword strapped to her waist and a laurel wreath on her head. The reverse side has the Germania Mints rendition of Germania’s coat of arms. Germania only exists as a historical land. Using the rules of heraldry, the mint created what they believe the coat of arms would look like. It has a two-headed eagle, a check pattern, a ribbon with three flowers, and a wild boar. At the top is ‘GERMANIA 2021’ and at the bottom is ‘5 MARK’.
