For over three decades, the coin has featured two designs: “Walking Liberty” on the obverse and a flying eagle on the reverse. This year, the U.S. Mint announced the 2021 release of an all-new Type 2 edition of this hallmark coin of the bullion industry. This new coin will retain the classic obverse design of Walking Lady Liberty, but will debut a brand new depiction on the reverse.
