The 2019 British 2 oz Silver Queen’s Beasts Yale coin is made of 2 oz. of .9999 silver and is the 7th coin in the Queen’s Beasts series. The Royal Mint has done a magnificent job depicting the Yale of Beaufort, the symbol of Lady Margaret of Beaufort. On the obverse of the coin, is the beautiful Jody Clark artwork depicting Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The 2019 British 2 oz Queen’s Beast Greyhound coin is the seventh release in the Queen’s Beasts series. Featured on this coin is the Yale of Beaufort, an animal usually represented as an antelope or goat which is the symbol for Lady Margaret of Beaufort. The Royal Mint has done a magnificent job rendering this majestic animal in .9999 fine silver on the reverse of the coin. You can clearly see details like horns and tusks of the beast as it is reared up on two legs. The obverse features the now classic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in such great detail by artist Jody Clark. 

 

The Queen’s Beasts Collection was inspired by ten 6 ft. statues that were created for Queen Elizabeth’s coronation. Each of the beasts depicts creatures that appear at various times as symbols of the British monarchy.
